Steroid Use

A lot of people who are either in or who are familiar with the bodybuilding world seem to be making a huge fuss about steroid use in the sport and culture. I can kind of understand why people have their panties in a bunch, because the idea of sport in and of itself is supposed to be that you have achieved your athletic prowess through nothing but hard work. The idea of someone using steroids seems like one is using artificial means to some people. You especially don't want to try that mess in the Olympics. You saw what happened to Marian Jones.

7 Foods That Will Burn Your Fat

Don't get me wrong, diet and exercise are the way to go to get your body right and tight. I'm also a big advocate to cardio. However, very few people know that one of the most effective ways to lose that stubborn body fat isn't necessarily to turn up the notch on your workout, but rather to adjust the way you eat. Even fewer people know that there are some very specific foods that will, quite little literally, cause you to burn fat, even in your sleep! Below, I'll share with you 7 such food items.

Get Out There And Run!

Unfortunately, a lot people don't like to run. it's a shame too, because running does a body a whole world of good. Not only will it improve your cardiovascular health, but you burn a crap ton of calories. I don't know exactly why some see running as a nightmare, but I think that if it's approached the right way, running can be super enjoyable. If you're new to the whole running thing, I recommend starting off slow. Some people try to start out like they're Usain Bolt or something, and they kill themselves, and then end up half dead, wheezing for dear life, and sprawled out on the ground in a dark alley somewhere because of all the cramps they’re feeling. What I recommend doing instead is starting out at a pace and distance that’s reasonable to your fitness level. Then gradually increase your speed and distance over time, thus building upon your prowess.
If you’re like me and you love music, carry a music player with you as you run or jog. You’d be surprised at how much music seems to send extra adrenaline through you. You could also try running with friends so that way, you all can encourage one another. Whatever you do, try to find a way to make the running fun. Before you know it, you’ll be running like a champ, and looking like one too.

Make Sure You STRETCH!

'Cause if you don't, you're going to end up with one sore a## after your workout. You might be surprised at how many people forget to do their pre and post workout stretches, but it will do you a world of good. Not only will stretching reduce the chances of you cramping up after your workouts, but studies have shown that stretching will also help to grow the muscles. So there you have it people. Make sure you're taking the time out to give heed to this simple, and sometimes overlooked, portion of your workout session.
